The UK has several different charts that are compiled weekly based on what has been sold at a random selection of record shops throughout the UK. I have used the main UK chart (formly known as the Gallup top 75) which is used by the BBC. The BBC top 40 chart is taken from this and used for radio and television.
The US has one main Billboard chart which is split down into smaller charts (catering for the different styles of music - for example R'n'B, and country & western). Where known I have given the main Billboard chart placing.

It should be noted that not all of the Scritti Politti singles were released in the US. If anybody can provide chart information for other countries, I would be happy to include it here.
